Astro Boy, the little robot

Astro Boy is by far: it is adapted from a manga from 1952, already circulated cartoon series in 1963, it was the first Japanese animated series! A film in 1964 and in 2003 another series punctuates his story.

Today, in 2007 or rather since the film took two years to find the back of halls, Astro Boy returns in color and 3D computer graphics.

In the original version, this is Nicolas Cage, who does the voice of Dr. Tenma, with Freddie Highmore in Astro, Charlize Theron, Samuel L. Jackson, Kristen Bell ... (I have no idea in French!)

Astro is an adventure that is following with interest. The beginning of the film lacks even long dead, it becomes a fault! Looks like the writers have tried to paste an unexpected event when poor Toby / Astro sits a few seconds.

I preferred the first part, the discovery of the world powers and Astro. The ending is too conventional. Ultimately, the film is rather for children who will surely enjoy. Adults may remain unsatisfied.

Too bad it lacks a little originality in the script for the magic happens.
