James Bond Quantum of Solace

quantum solace.jpeg-of- Yet another James Bond, Daniel Craig who certainly does not think of a secret agent. Even Jean Dujardin in OSS 117 or Steve Carell in Get Smart spies are more credible. :-P

An organization totally unknown to British intelligence, called Quantum, is apparently much more complex and dangerous than they had imagined ...
Of course, James Bond meets the road when a pretty girl Camille, who seeks revenge of Dominic Greene, a ruthless businessman and a pillar of the mysterious organization.

The story is quite confusing, and I confess that I got at times, wondering "why is that? why they go there? ".

It is true that I was never a huge fan of 007. However, his distinction and his class gave the film a certain charm.

Daniel Craig is nothing distinguished or classy. In addition, his character too seriously. The "old" James Bond (Sean Connery and Roger primarily Moore) were more playful, joking with their enemies, teased the secretary Moneypenny ... Here we do not laugh. :-|

Imdb Rating: 7.2 / 10. My rating: 5 / 10.

In theaters October 31, 2008.

I agree with your note, though I added a 0.5. However I am not at all agree with your analysis!

A secret agent, in reality, it's not a guy who smiled at the secretary and has a casual attitude. He is someone who risks his skin every day, and is faced with enemies who do not hesitate to stick a bullet in the head if it is discovered. In this sense, I just so happens that Daniel Craig is the first to REALLY look like a secret agent. They risk their lives to mine, they are not there to ask for Ok Magazine :-P

As the series goes to something more cold, more violent, especially for something more realistic, however, is a good thing. We are no longer in the 60's, it was time the character enters the new century, as the series begins to run out seriously.

Quantum of Solace was mainly the fault of being very poorly done, and to have a script doing the bare minimum. Hence the disappointment compared to the excellent Casino Royale by Martin Campbell.

Was not entitled to 0.5 on IMDb. : D

I understand your arguments, it is perhaps more realistic, but the charm of Bond is still much to the casual side + humor + girls.

I have a little more appreciated Casino Royale, but barely. Finally, as I said I'm not a big fan.

I did not know your blog, I bookmarked it very well. ;-)
